New Resource, National Conference, and a Vacation

I'm finally back from the National Conference in Vegas and my vacation following.  I feel terribly behind and it's summer.  Don't you hate that feeling?  I moved classrooms the three days following the conclusion of our school year but found out while on vacation that I'm moving again.  Can you sense my "FREAK OUT"?  As you are aware, I'm moving grade levels, trying to finish my sub tubs, completing my focus walls, and enjoying what is left of summer break.  As for now, I'm going to have to put a hold on all the request.  Sorry guys, it's time to prep the year.

I managed to finish a file before the panic set in. I created "Cute" Classroom Door Hangers. Why does it seem the minute you step out of the classroom is when you are needed the most?  Although I'm required to use a walkie talkie when leaving class, it doesn't fail that visitors are seeking my location.  I created a file using cutie patootie Melonheadz clipart to identify the location in which my class has visited.  You will find three options of door hangers to meet printing needs.

Here are a few pictures from Vegas...

The week wasn't filled with all recreation, I promise.  If you check my Facebook Fan Page and Instagram (link on sidebar), you'll find lots of visuals from the different presentations. There were some REALLY creative ideas.

After Vegas, I flew to Atlanta where my husband picked me up and we traveled to the Blue Ridge Mountains.  What a remarkable place.  The cabin was miles from several states.  Matter of fact, while horseback riding, we could see Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee in one spot.  We ate dinner in McCaysville, Gerogia and Copperhill, Tennessee at the same time.  No Kidding.  The state line runs through the middle of the town.  We sat on the line and ate in both states.
